Didn’t make it to Sugarland? Clips are here!

We celebrated the release of Jen Urban & The Box‘s new single AEON and its remixes + the video premiere of “21” on Friday… and what a time it was! Mr. Manic from Philly kicked the nite off w/ a slammin DJ set (check out his remix HERE). The adorable MC Tom Charles (also a Philly boy) warmed up the crowd w/ his sick flows, and BreakNeck (see his remix) closed things out w/ a bang. JUATB and their dancers brought it, and the audience was treated to the FIRST EVER viewing of the official “21″ music video!!

Those who missed this epic night can check out the video next week. In the meantime, here’s some footage from the show! Thanks to Christopher Hayes (ReptileMind.tv) & Robert Ramsay (LiveMusicBites.com) for shooting, cutting & posting!!

The Identifiers On The Move w/ Jen Urban

06 Dec 2011: Today we’re offering a limited time download of the 2nd Identifiers’ single ON THE MOVE feat. Jen Urban. Get it before the album goes on sale in the New Year!

In “On the Move,” buzzy synths and punchy disco drums create a bright, youthful and fun vibe somewhere between an upbeat Phil Collins track and Ke$ha. On lead vocals, Jen Urban brings sass and sparkle to her portrayal of a fun-loving protagonist who literally doesn’t know how to slow down – and likes it that way.

Alyson Greenfield: Converse Track of the Week

Since releasing her hip-hop covers EP Rock Out With Your Glockenspiel Out on roc-elle records this summer, Brooklyn-based performer Alyson Greenfield has sustained a characteristically eclectic and whirlwind pace, presenting the 2nd year of her Tinderbox Music Festival, recording at Converse‘s Rubber Tracks Studio, touring the East Coast, and performing multiple times during the CMJ Music Marathon. Greenfield is featured in a documentary piece on the Rubber Tracks project, which has been plugged in The Wall Street Journal, and her song “Uncharted Places” is currently Converse’s “Track of The Week

The Identifiers’ debut single OUT THERE feat. Kjersti Kveli

22 Nov 2011: THE IDENTIFIERS‘ first single off their debut EP, Portaits In Pop, is NOW on iTunes & Bandcamp! For a limited time, you can Name Your Price (including of course, nothing at all) on Bandcamp & get a download of OUT THERE feat. Norwegian-born singer-songwriter & vocal coach Kjersti Kveli… whose other credits include a recent performance for the King & Queen of Norway!

With its Bonham-esque drum break, analog bass and rock guitars, Out There lends a spacey, dark and modern feel to the quintessential story of a lost and lonely soul. In a cold, dark universe, the narrator, embodied with heart-wrenching clarity by Kveli, asks, ‘Is There Anybody Out There?’

Please enjoy (download, like, share!) & stay tuned for the follow-up single, ON THE MOVE, coming December 6th & featuring JEN URBAN! Portraits In Pop drops in January on roc-elle records.
